Education: PhD in Geography from Montpellier, France and an
Environmental Law degree, from DESS also in Montpellier.
Professional Experience: Previously a lecturer in the Department
of Geography at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal, she is
currently a member of Environmental Development Action in the Third
World (ENDA). Part of the ENDA Energy Team, she is working on energy,
Local Governance, urban issues gender and climate change – focussing on
vulnerability and adaptation issues and is interested in urban areas.
Also the coordinator of the research programme, she is in charge of the
CLACC regional programme management as a regional fellow. She is in
charge of the three West African fellows from Benin, Mali and
Mauritania. She is very interested in developing the francophone
influence of the CLACC network and hopes to use the CLACC study
opportunities to learn more about peri-urban and urban areas in the
sub-region where urbanization is highly pertinent and challenging.
Within ENDA, she has started a movement to mobilize West African civil
society through information and training but also practical action,
linking communities, NGO, local authorities efforts and their
institutional partners support.

Professional Experience: Mr. Sango is the Project Coordinator for AMADE- PELCODE, Mali. This is a national NGO active in the domain of environment protection and children care. The NGO has established dynamic partnerships with actors from the private, public and civil society sectors towards working with rural and urban communities in developing local technologies with regard to biodiversity and climate change issues.

Education: Engineer agronomist (MSc) in economics and
socio-anthropology for rural development from the Faculty of Agronomic
Sciences of Abomey-Calavi’s University. Mr. Dossou also obtained a
General Agronomy Degree (DAG) from the National University of Benin
Professional experience: Mr. Dossou was successively teacher of
rural projects management, scientific assistant in PFNL-Labo ,
consultant for international projects and researcher in the National
Institute of Agricultural Research, as well as other organisations. He
is currently program manager of OFEDI, a woman’s environmental NGO that
works on energy management and rural development. He manages the energy
and environment board. He has an extensive experience in rural
extension and practical project monitoring. He has carried out studies
on contribution of natural resources and forest products (excluding
wood) in rural households economy and food (community forestry,
agro-forestry), energy management (energizing efficiency, fuel wood,
technology transfer) and climate change adaptation (NAPA studies). Mr.
Dossou has also published various scientific articles.

Professional Experience: Madyoury Tandia is a hydrogeologyst and coordinator of Project & studies for Tenmiya. He has extensive experience on hydraulic engineering, decentralized rural electrification, management of water & sanitation and climate change.
